SACRED HEART OF JESUS PROCESSION
14 June, 11.30am - procession
June is the Month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with the Feast on 27 June this year. In 2024 we approached Wandsworth council to request they fly the flag of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in June, similar to the Pride and other flags they fly throughout the year, but were denied.
Therefore on 14 June 2025, we are calling for a prayerful procession of Christians (Catholic and non-Catholic) from St Mary Magdalen at 11:30am, following the 10:30am Mass, walking to and around the Town Hall, and then returning to the parish. We would begin and end in prayer, carry Sacred Heart of Jesus flags and enjoy prayer and song throughout.
Find out more details at our website, share our letter with others and follow our Facebook page to keep up with plans for the procession. You are also invited to join us for a planning meeting on 16 March at 12:30pm in the parish hall, or contact us if you would like to be involved and cannot make the meeting via: sacredheart24uk@gmail.com or 07545 332563.
